From one sentence to a finished part, with a change of mind halfway

Describe a part in plain words and Genie builds it feature by feature on a real CAD kernel, fills the gaps you left with standard sizes, and tells you what it checked. You can steer it while it works.

We typed one sentence into Genie:

A flanged bearing housing for a 6204 bearing: a Ø90 × 10 mm flange with four M6 holes on a Ø72 circle, a Ø58 boss 26 mm tall, 1 mm chamfers.

Real recordingThe video speeds up while Genie works; the badge in the corner says by how much.

Halfway through, with a few features already on screen, we changed our mind and sent “Make it six M6 holes.” Genie switched to six holes and still finished everything the first request asked for.

What came out

  • Ten features you can edit: sketches, the flange, the boss, the bore and holes, the bearing seat and the chamfers, in an ordinary feature tree.
  • Six Ø6.6 holes, 60° apart on the Ø72 circle: the ISO 273 medium clearance for M6.
  • A bearing seat we never asked for. Genie looked up the 6204 (ISO 15: Ø47 outside, 14 mm wide) and made a Ø47 pocket 15 mm deep with a Ø40 bore below it, so the bearing has a shoulder to sit on. It said plainly that this sizing was its own choice.
  • Measured by the kernel: one solid, six Ø6.60 holes found, 90 × 36 × 90 mm overall.

Why it helps

  • You describe what you need, not which buttons to press. The sizes you give are used exactly. The ones you leave out are filled with standard values, and Genie tells you which is which.
  • You stay in charge. Send a new message at any moment and Genie folds it in instead of starting over. Ctrl+Z undoes anything it did.
  • It’s real CAD. The result is a parametric feature tree, not a mesh: change a size later and everything that depends on it follows.

Try it: give the sizes you care about and leave the rest to Genie. Read its answer: it lists every choice it made for you.
