DesignX Genie, a product of ARMOUR1X LLP, is a browser-based CAD application with an AI design assistant, Genie, at designxgenie-cad.web.app. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it. Questions: designxgenie@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address, and your password, which we store only as a salted hash, so nobody can read it. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name and email address.
- Your designs: the documents you create or import (parts, assemblies, drawings, their history and named versions), your projects and folders, thumbnails, and the settings saved with a document.
- What you ask Genie: your instructions, any drawing or photo you attach, and the parts of the open design Genie needs to answer. The conversation is kept with the document. We also record what each request cost (tokens and the dollar amount), to apply the daily and monthly limits, and any thumbs-up or thumbs-down you give, together with the request and answer it was about.
- If you subscribe to Genie Plus or Genie Pro: your plan, its status and renewal dates, and Razorpay's subscription and payment references. Your card or UPI details go to Razorpay, never to us.
- Security and service logs: when you sign in and were last active, your IP address (for rate limits and to stop abuse), and our servers' error logs.
- In your browser: your sign-in session, a working copy of the open document and your preferences (such as the theme) are kept in your browser's local storage. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To run the service: store your designs, build their geometry, answer your Genie requests, and show your work on any computer you sign in to.
- To keep it safe and fair: protect accounts, prevent abuse, and apply Genie's limits.
- To run your Genie Plus or Pro subscription: its renewals, upgrade, cancellation and any refund.
- To fix and improve it: error logs, and the feedback you give on Genie's answers.
We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Who else handles it
These providers run parts of DesignX Genie for us and handle your data only for that:
- Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, servers, the database and its backups.
- Anthropic, and OpenAI as a fallback: they answer Genie requests and receive what you send to Genie.
- Resend: sends account emails, such as password links.
- Razorpay: takes Genie Plus and Pro payments. Your card or UPI details go only to Razorpay.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Who can see your designs
Each document is visible only to you, to people you share it with (when sharing is available), and to the service's administrators, who can open documents to give support and keep the service working.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When an account is deleted, we erase its documents, projects, activity, Genie conversations and ratings; we keep the record of what Genie requests cost, without their content, for accounting, and payment records for as long as tax law requires. Backups protect against data loss and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Your choices
- Download your designs at any time, as STEP, STL and other formats.
- Change your name from the account menu in the editor.
- Ask us to send you, correct or delete your data, or to delete your account: write to designxgenie@gmail.com from your account's email address.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and every request to our servers is checked against the account that made it.
Children
DesignX Genie isn't meant for children under 16.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
